My name is Brian Pawelec, I am a freshman in the first year engineering program at Purdue University. My hometown is Woodhaven, Michigan and I have grown up there my entire life. I plan on majoring in constructing engineering and management because I have always wanted to be able to be in charge of a project and watching something I had a part in being built. At Purdue I am involved with the learning community Engineering in the World of Data, where we focus on how data has become a greater part in the engineering community. I am also involved with PUDM which is an event designed to raise money for the Riley Hospital for Children and also part of the triathlon club, which is a club to help me pursue my own interests.
